let me tell you why beer is bad.

It makes you stupid (which is cool)

and everyone knows that when you are stupid you might say or do stupid things.
Like break a window, or sexually assault the women in the thong and pasties.

It dehydrates you. Lets think about this one for a minute. YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESERT IN JULY. Do you really wanna walk around with heat stroke?

Beer eventually makes you tired....as when you pass out after having to much. But you never actually get the same amount of sleep that you would have had if you actually slept the same amount of time.

If you paid to get into the con, why are you sleeping anyway? Go home and sleep after the con. When you sleep, you miss room parties, breakouts, seminars, and great con sex with the fine ladies at the con. So don't drink beer. Stick to coffee and gatorade.
Finally, beer makes you build up gas. Which means you then have to fart or belch in public. I don't know of any women who would normally appreciate this.

I need free rackspace. and no, not for a server. just for me. got some floorspace between your double beds? Mind if I crash in your room? I'm planning on attempting to stay awake the whole con if possible, cept for the last night so I can recover to drive home.

I live in Connecticut, USA, and my other friend lives in Rhode Island, USA. We have never been to any of the previous DefCons...actually, we've never heard of DefCon 'til a few months ago, and we thought "HELL! Let's go to Las Vegas, and on the way, let's get some education and some alcohol poisoning while we're at it." So, we decided to attend your interesting convention and see if perhaps we can play some TCP/IP drinking games and/or wardrive contests. Maybe even actually answer something correctly!

Anyway, if anyone is still looking for roommates to like bunk or whateva to meet their quote in order to get those fancy rooms at the AP, let us know. If not, it's cool, 'cause we'll probably end up renting a really shitty room or just sleep outside in park somewhere (LIKE CAMPING!).

We are frugal sons of biscuits, but we do share alcohol. WOO!

From you above comment I am guessing you will be traveling through all this states carrying large amounts of booze. Do you not see the problem with that, or the laws you will be violating? For your sake, I hope you don't get pulled over.
