Awesome! I for one will certainly be there. All you can eat sushi is completely insane... last time I had it I puked up halfway through just to make room for more sushi!
True. When I was in Japan and was offered a fish plate, I avoided the roe, that was obvious. Knowing I needed to eat raw fish I chose the two best looking items. Turned out I chose the squid and the octopus.
i dunno, all-you-can-eat sushi sounds a little too much like sushi buffet, which is something that really, really scares me.
in any case, this is a bit OT, but for anyone who's interested in quality over quantity, the best sushi in vegas can be found at a place called osaka, and it's on sahara, a few miles west of the strip.
as an aside, "sushi" actually refers to the way that the rice is prepared.

I would imagine in order to keep fresh sushi out the actual buffet part is right next to the Sushi chef. That is how Makino's Sushi Buffet was when I was there. Alot of times you'd have to end up telling them what kind you want, and they would make it right then. This place may be different though.
[QUOTE=che]Godminusone and myself have decided to attempt to put the hurt on a poor unsuspecting restaurant offering all you can eat sushi for under $24 an hour. (Poor bastards.. they won't know what hit them.) Thus came the concept of SushiCon! Come one, come all, let us pillage the place like locust!
I've been to Sushi on Tropicana, their sushi is good, and cheap. Last time we were there, they didn't run out of sushi, but they did run out of T-shirts.
For me, quality is the primary factor, so I prefer to buy my raw fish from Hamada of Japan or Osaka.
