Some of us wear staff shirts for all four days of the con and can't wear anything else unless we're off duty. The avatar badge has worked for years and if it ain't broke....: Grifter :.

by the way, if you're gonna make a t-shirt for whatever reason, at least do it
the cool way. I think we've all tried the 'iron-on transfer' stuff at some point or another, it turns to shit real quick. if ya wanna a do a cool shirt for cheap, without the cost of screen printing, this is always a fun alternative:

usually limited to basic colors, as it's done with stencils, although im sure if you work at it, you can create cool gradients and such for images if ya need..:. Adrenaline .:.Comment

Damn. I've been wrapped up in the internet appliance contest that I totally forgot about working on my DC12 name badge. Hmm.
If blackwave were here I wouldn't have forgotten. :)"Just when I thought I was out.......They pull me back in"- Neural's Godfather momentComment

On the subject of shirts - There's always Cafe Press (http://www.cafepress.com) just upload an image, and order your shirt back from the web site. It's got the professional look too."Never Underestimate the Power of Stupid People in Large Groups"Comment

I was actually thinking about that when you were talking about shirts. And then I was t hinking that the cost of shipping would make it a kinda dumb thing to do. Its true that Cafepress IS iron on stuff though, but it IS relatively sturdy for a bit at least. Just air dry it and not throw it in the dryer.Originally posted by hackajarOn the subject of shirts - There's always Cafe Press (http://www.cafepress.com) just upload an image, and order your shirt back from the web site. I made my forum badge with Indesign and $2 for a color copy and a lamination at kinkos.

meeting for the first time...
Yeah, I've had problems on more than one occasion with "Hi, I'm lost." That usually leads to confusion.Originally posted by astcellAnd when you meet me I am A.S.T., pronounced 'ayestie.' Do not pronounce is out like you are saying 'asshole' with an e. Thanks.

Badge Dimension
I've been reviewing all the different examples of badges online. With Blackwaves instructions a 3x5 card is used. Other pictures I've seen appear larger than this. Does anybody have the Defcon badge dimensions that will be used this year? (or will they be the same as last year?) If it is different then the original 3x5 size recommended by Blackwave can someone modify the stencil used and make it available for use? That way the forum badge matches the size of the Defcon Badge. I would do this but I am Photoshop illiterate.“Bigamy is having one wife too many. Monogamy is the same.”Comment
