War(verb)ing is dead. There, I said it. For anyone who hasn't figured it out, war(verb)ing is the act of any activity undertaken with the intention of stumbling wireless networks of any type, regardless of whether or not a connection to or association with said network is made.

The '(verb)' part of the term 'war(verb)ing' is intended to encompass the panoply of different techniques that may be employed in the course of stumbling wireless networks. Some examples would be:

    - Wardriving.
    - Warwalking.
    - Warflying.
    - Wargaming (yes, I've seen it).
    - Warcartwheelswithakendollrammedupyourassing.

Of course, that is by no means an exhaustive list. Pretty much any activity that the act of locating radio-based networks can be tiredly associated with will do just fine. Onwards.

damn i still have my Franklin ACE 1000 w/Wildcat modem card ;) sigh, the old days of demon dialing.... sigh, and no hard drives... and getting access to a dubious BBS usually meant meeting the sysop in person at a local bus stop or park. lol.

i might have to boot up the old beast in all it's 64k amberscreened glory.

I just cant get rid of it

Tell us how you really feel, don't hold back.

Sounds like any number of subjects where new folks are discovering something old, like me. They try to put their 'stamp' on it. Human nature.
