Agreed. Things like Contiki, which is seriously fucking cool.

Contiki and Plan9 are not only exotic and interesting projects, they are a demonstration of how things that were supposed to have no use are transformed into useful things and how things are actualy invented.

I also would ask for more links, goons of this land, is that all you have to say? :)
