Correct. But it was black with yellow accents.

I think Grifter and the rest of guys from 801 that work so hard on trying to get this game of the ground did a great job in the short time they had to work with. I'm also convinced that next years installment of the LL will be awsome and run a lot smoother.
lil_freak, I respect your opinion. But Weakest Link is a BAD game to start with.
The only reason it had any following in the US was the dominatrix host.

"The Weakest Link" is a relatively new game. Jeopardy and others have been around forever and are proven successes.

              I had fun

I played the Leetest Link the second night (Friday? It's all a haze for me now), and I quite enjoyed it. In fact, I was the one (kris) who tried to vote off Humperdink in the championship round. (I still maintain it was good strategy...just poor politics).

I think I actually missed my first three questions, but like the actual game of the Weakest Link I was able to minimize my failure by staying inconspicuous, and making sure I drank enough of my beer before my question so I could chug the rest without too much problem.

As others have pointed out, there's a reason why The Weakest Link isn't on the air anymore. It's just not a very good game - it was designed to take advantage of the trend in reality TV where you can vote off contestants. Unfortunately, it just didn't translate very well into game show format. Jeopardy, and it's format, is pretty timeless, and our grandkids will probably be watching (and Ken Jenning's grandkids will probably be playing it).

If Leetest Link is going to happen next year, I would love to help out with the organization. Better questions and better hosts would go a long way to improving the game. The host the second night, Disfunktional(?) was great, but the guy the first night just had no personality. The idea from prior in this thread to set up a question submission system is a great idea, something that could probably work out well.

Finally, my apologies for being the ass hole in the audience calling out answers...I was a little drunk. ;)

the brittish version had enough success to inspire the american counterpart....

Yeah for some reason Japanese shows are intent upon the complete degradation of their own race. Kinda like Most Extreme Elimination Challenge on Spike TV which is based on a japanese show called Takahashi's Castle I believe.
