I'm still trying to fully understand how this culture works, but here is what I see:
If a person posts something inflamitory, or unkind, or targets a group of people with an "-ism" of some sort, they open themselves up to being attacked.

It is sort of like Pandora's Box, and once a user opens it, they sometimes find it difficult to close.

Poeple confuse scripting with hacking. A hacker should write his own code.

Ahh, interesting, I always though people confused scripting:

A simple program in a utility language or an application's proprietary language.

with programming:

A set of coded instructions that enables a machine, especially a computer, to perform a desired sequence of operations.

or even coding. But alas, I was incorrect.

Now, you've jumped all over the place when you were refering to a "hacker", are you talking media-hype malicious or, "One who is proficient at using or programming a computer; a computer buff."?
