Ah, I hate to point this out but you spelled supernova incorrectly in the URL. If you spell it correctly you will see that supernova website is alive and well.Originally posted by alklloydI enjoy talking to myself...it's usually the only intelligent conversations I get to have. -
Unfortunately, I cannot tell if you seriously believe that or if you are simply making fun of the many suprnova.org ripoffs. Just in case:Originally posted by Floydr47Ah, I hate to point this out but you spelled supernova incorrectly in the URL. alklloyd did not post the incorrect URL (notice how http://supernova.org posts the "misspelled" suprnova at every chance). The real suprnova never has, and apparently never will, require registration.
Additionally, Slashdot mentions that the operators of another meta-torrent site, TorrentBits.org, have decided to go dark.Comment

As far as I can tell, no one really knows yet. In other words, those responsible are not speaking.
One rumor is that it was due to an excessive increase in traffic to these sites over the weekend (on the order of >10% of their usual).
For the conspiracy theorists, the departing messages of both TorrentBits.org and suprnova.org are suspiciously similar (i.e., "x, as we know it, is dead") despite the fact that they were run by different individuals.
I'm sure we can all name a few organizations that wished for their demise, but I'm keeping an open mind.Comment

(I'm not trying to be mean. I would have let it slide if you had any other name, but dev_zero? You were asking for it.
