Flash Mx help

Viper, I'm far from fluent in webdesign. I was wondering if you or somebody you know is fluent in flash mx. I have a functional fla file that I am examining on how I can modify a few things in order to broadcast live streaming video. I have read numerous tutorials on how to do this, however, I am lost in flash alone, so it seems that every "do this" is confusing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Flash MX tutorials can be hard to understand because of how they are laid out. Most changes/fixes can be made within the action script, however some changes must occur on the user interface template. Because of the type of thing your looking to do it would be best to post what modifications your looking at doing. Without knowing this it would be very hard to tell you where you would need to make your changes. Plus if changes need to be made to the template you would need to alter some of the action script so you don't end up with syntax errors.

No man, sorry. I never decided to take up Flash MX... even though I wanted to. I did take a few tutorials here and there and mess with the software a good bit, but I was never serious about it. My main languages and design processes in web design are HTML, XML, PHP, and Photoshop. With those, I can do anything I need to do. And of course, I write a few scripts in Python, my favorite object-oriented language that work wonders for me. I was mainly wanting to know of an open-source app. just because I never really see one. And so I wouldn't have to emulate Dreamweaver when I booted into Linux.
