The ring idea soulds really cool. Maybe spots to fill it with a gem (onyx maybe) for each year you attend (attended) Defcon

oh, what's the copyright on the happy face / cross bones?

If I made something for myself, and did not sell to others, would DefCon (the non-profit) get mad?

without fear of hyperbole or exaggeration i can safely say "THAT IS THE GREATEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!"

i would most certainly buy one of these, with the defcon logo or not.

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

Even though it is stainless steel, adding holes for gems would weaken the ring/opener, and as the ring is torqued, gems might fall out due to bending.

Yeah. I agree the ring is pretty cool. :-)

I was just talking about a ring, any ol ring, that you could add gems to. Bottle opener ring is cool too, but I was thinking more of a class ring style

Challenge Coin beer game would be an excellent addition to DefCon.

The problem with challenge coins is that they lose their meaning if anyone can just buy them.

I have a challenge coin from the Pope from his visit to Bosnia, I bet that has a little value now.

How about challenge coins that the goons give out? Each goon gets 20 coins, same standards to receive a coin as the standard challenge coins.

Talk about kissing up and bribery!

.... But if they are for Goons only....

And don't forget us AK shooters. A Defcon stamped AK receiver would be great. Even better would be DC stamped 80% receiver blanks... no paperwork needed!

Okay the AK shooters are not the only ones out there, so don't forget to add the AR-15 shooters to that list.

But if they are for goons only, they would not be relevant to this conversation, which is about attendee purchaceable swag.

Girls. Branded with the DC logo. It'd probably end up pretty pricey, but I bet you could make em sell.
