DC Juggling Balls

DA and I talked about this and he can't find anyone with quality products that can get an order back to us in time. So it's not likely to happen this year, according to what I've been told.

As for the clubs, I have some plastic training clubs I can bring. I used to juggle torches... that's a hoot too. I just ordered my first acrylic contact ball from renegade juggling out of Santa Cruz. They also have those stage balls, but I didn't see a place to make customer orders. Maybe I'll check back with them.

DA, when you took my contact balls and did a three ball palmspin only to throw them up and do a back of the hand isolation I was seriously rocked.

How about some contact balls with DC logos in the center ? :)

The guys at Renegade are really nice. There are some other good sources for contact stuff: Infinite Illusions, Todd Smith, etc...

Im in a circus society and fail to: juggle, devil sticks and unicycle.
An interesting point is that I would say about 4/5 or more of the society are computer/electronics/similar fields related.

I intend to bring my practice clubs and juggling balls (as well as that killer new black contact acrylic from Renegade) and I believe DA said he was bringing stuff as well. We could just kick back at the con once or twice and juggle whilst drinking heavily. Maybe we can even teach Chris to juggle?

Sounds very cool. I can barely juggle whilst sober...I dont think drink would help...although it does improve my pool skills...hmm...I feel a test coming on :)

I kinda sorta sometimes spin poi and I'm trying to learn CJ (hopefully I get better before I make any new holes in my walls or take out a window). Several people can be found spinning poi by the pools at con. JonM unicycles and does some other circus stuff. Several people from the 206 are part of a circus school doing trapeze and stuff.

I think you will find us to be a very diverse group!

Todd Smith can often do logo beanbags on quick turn around so it may be worth following up with him. I can assist with the conversation since I used to run his website for him....

I'll be bringing some clubs and balls as well. Possibly a diabolo or two as well....

A very worthy thought. Indeed it should be pursued for official juggling shwag next year. This year it is too late in our schedule (even if he can accomodate us).

This all being said, if someone out there (nudge nudge) was to commission DC juggling balls in time for DC, I would certainly buy 5 or so. From the unexpected popularity of this thread, I assume I am not the only one...
