        And I guess he doesn't understand that a lot of the "hax0rs" work for "the man". Cause "the man" pays better.

            As for working for 'the man'... Heh... So what if he pays better... One day, "The man" will control everything you have, if you let him.

                        Who is "they"? As to "there wouldn't be any more hackers", there will always be those who modify and invent. By introducing a new/superior technology you won't eliminate those who invent and modify. Who do you think came up wth the new technology in the first place?

                                        Maybe it's an adaptive filter - you find a workaround and use it, filter detects it and adapts to block it, and next time you try the workaround it doesn't work anymore.

                                        I've heard rumors that there are products out there that do that sort of thing.

                                        Myself, I think that filtering software is a waste of money. Yeah, it'll block p0rn and the like, but it also blocks a whole bunch of useful and/or amusing stuff too, like informational sites, Maddox's 'The Best Site On The Internet' (which has a bunch of amusing rants, including one on the Internet filter WebSense), and the use of perfectly normal words like 'dominate'.

                                        Besides, they don't really add anything to security - they're just electronic babysitters.
