  • CAR POOL: Anyone passing through Phoenix, AZ?

Hi, I'm looking for a lift to and from Defcon, I live in Phoenix, AZ. Anyone from Phx or passing through? I can pay in gas money and/or "substances". ;)

Not just any fed though. The IRS is not interested in barter, are they?

It's difficult for me to make a definitive offer just now, but I should have an extra seat. We are driving up Thursday morning (early enough to make the TBBQ) and coming back Sunday evening immediately following the awards ceremony.

Perhaps if you let me know (either in public or through PM) a little more about you, I might be able to solidify my offer.

Substances? You really wanna try your luck on that one? You could certainly find free ride and a place to crash faster than you think... I hope you like bolognia sandwitches too :)

I'd like to think that if I were a sociopathic killer, then I'd at least respect myself enough to be honest about it. I suppose every group is going to have people with self-esteem problems, though...

The latter's probably true. Most feds would probably be able to successfully spell the words 'are', 'to', 'dude', and 'people' correctly.

No problem. It was either that or remedial English, though I'm still up in the air as to which would be more beneficial.

As my former teacher used to say

                          I am a programer
                          I am a proggramer
                          I write code

I don't doubt for a moment that he said that, as trying to live it would be damned near impossible when you can't even spell your profession correctly.

Perhapse we will meet at DC and you can evangelize me on the benefits of proper grammer and spelling. We could turn it into a drinking game. I say or spell something wrong and I take a shot. As time goes on it could get interesting.
