I did suspect it because the writer said just about everything wrong :/ But still it sounded real to me, and how do you know it was a hoax?

I've read enough articles like that to be able to recognize one When someone is sounding that dumb it is probably because they are WORKING hard to sound that dumb. Easy enough.

Some of the best satire is hard to distinguish from real news. The local free rag published this story over the summer which was so good that the mayor was answering questions about it in interviews in more legitimate media outlets.

            *** EDIT

Even if it is (and sounds like) a satire, there are people out there that would read this and take it as true advice.

I enjoyed the satire. Really though, give me a break, in the story the guy's wife was Carol, his daughter Cindy and his son was Peter, where was Alice and the rest of the Brady Bunch?? I found some good laughs in both the story and your quiz, thanks.
I enjoy talking to myself...it's usually the only intelligent conversations I get to have.

                      W00T! I'm a super-uber hacker!

I saw this a while ago, and on many different websites. It would be sad to think some parent might-have taken it seriousely.

To Saint Peter he will Tell:
