Common questions asked that don't have posted answers AFAIK:
* Will there be a DCTV, or in-room broadcast of presentations and CTF like the AP?
* Does the hotel have High Speed Internet? :: Rooms have phones with "DataPorts" (Partial Answer)
* will we have acccess to the sky boxes? if so I would like to reserve one now

Will we have 24 access to some/all of the con space?
Are rooms going to be assigned in a group? (i.e. One tower reserved for con-goers, civilians get the rest)
Are we going to have any fun comments from the fire marshall?
More as I think of themNever drink anything larger than your head!

Are Canadians still allowed to attend Defcon???
Some questions I have heard in passing:
Will the conference attendees be limited to specific floors during the conference?
Will attendees be required to stay on specific floors if staying at the Riviera?
How does the badge requirement fit into the layout of the conference this year?if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

The thread said "A block of rooms was set aside". Exactly how many is this?
2 floors? 3 floors? One whole tower? I asked the hotel, and thier reply was "our policy is that, that information cannot be given"
Concerns being other families mixed in with con-goers and noise level / parties on floors of the hotel. Also how fast the hotel is going to fill up.
Also, the AP had lectures seperated into rooms far apart from each other, some in seperate buildings, if this convention space is 1 large room
devided up with false walls, how is the noise level going to work? Has anyone taken in account noise polution from lectures going on in the
next room over? I dont know how much noise those false walls will cut.
Also how will lines before the lectures work?.. if the rooms are side by side it could cause some confusion and congestion.
Just some things to think about if it hasnt been done already.Last edited by [Syntax]; November 3, 2005, 19:05.
