This was a collection of unofficial expected FAQ for DefCon 14.
For the Official FAQ, I encourage you to Check out DT's Official FAQ Submission Thread and the newer OFFICIAL DEFCON FAQ
Information covered in the Official DefCon FAQ will be removed from here.
I figured I'd compile information we have about DefCon that people might want to know:

1) DefCon
#1: Unofficial DefCon FAQ assembled by HighWizard. (Read this.) It may not be current with dates, or hotel location, but it has great advice and information from core DefCon attendees.
When? August 4-6 2006 link found here
How Much? Probably $100 for the Con. (Probably will cover all "tracks" all three days and spectator access to contests. However, rooms, food, drink, swag, extra events/contests will probably cost more depending on what you buy/desire.)
Minimum Age for the Hotel? Hotel: 22 or older, Or is it 18 and older?
Age for Just the Convention? (Covered in official FAQ) No restriction-- but people under the age of 18 should probably have a parent or guardian or someone over 18 to be resposible for them. Any events in bars, or casinos may have their own age restrictions, but most publicized events and contests probably won't be in Casino gambling space or bars.
Only been to DefCon at the AP? Noid has info for you.
2) Hotel Q/A
The Offical Hotel is the Riviera.
The Riviera has reservations online (limited to 3-4 months from "now") or over the phone ((800) 634-6753)
Room Rates are "flat-fee" based on quantity of occupants. $92+T(~$100.28) with 1 or 2 people, $112+T(~$122.08) with 3 or 4 people. Priority for room assignment when you say you're with DefCon is "Deluxe"
When making reservations on the phone, (Three kind of rooms (each has choice 1-King/2-Double beds or flash disabled) it takes ~10 minutes and you get charged for the first night ($100.28) and there is a $14 cancellation fee.
"Deluxe" room assignment (priority when you reserve with "DefCon") means little at reservation. Rooms are assigned at Check-In. (Deviant Ollam)
The Riviera has 160,000 sq feet for convention space or it is 150,000 sq feet?
guile and erehwon found an image of a map of the Riviera for those who are flash-challanged. (PDF available)
Minimum Age? Age to get a room at the Riveria: Hotel: 22 or older, Or is it 18 and older?
Hotel Review (environment) found by erehwon
