    woot!

Yeah, $20 or so is definately reasonable for a con shirt.. higher from their if we start getting all fancy. My general hope is that whoever does the run doesn't lose money, but also doesn't use it as a capitalistic venture. idealist? Recouping money for a shirt run should be top priority though.. someone cool enough to make such a thing happen should not be penalized for doing so.. especially financially.

I hadnt even thought about the whole sizing thing yet.
So people need to post size as well along with thier shirt request.
      (edit previous post)

Also, I just thought about how Im going to get the shirts to con,
I fly in, so if its more than an extra suitcase full, Im gonna have to
      ship them pre-con.

I also need to find out if the XXL are going to be any extra.

If any one else has comments or suggestions speak now, so
I can get this to go as well as possible..

I also noticed that my TBBQ 2 shirt has cracks in the print, and
I've only worn it 2 times. Hopefully these will come out better.

I recommend adding cost for all this into consideration of charge for shirts :P

They usually do for XXL and larger.. I certainly don't mind paying more than the short skinny BBQers.. I normally do with all other clothing anyways.

$20 is more than reasonable for a momento type shirt from con. It's the going rate anyways.

Might want to consider one price for people who pre-order (paypal, left tit, etc) and another for onsite. Gets you some seed money and means you know of at least a base number of orders/profit to work from

I haven't figured out a clever logo, but I figured I'd offer up this as my idea for the design:

It's a work in progress, and needs to be cleaned up, but I was wondering what the general take on it is. Also, what resolution would I need to have it in for it to be considered for the design?

that's just fabulous. to hell with submitting that for a contest logo... that artwork should be engraved on prize plaques which get presented to various oustanding achievers in BBQ execution.

heh, you know... how come we don't have some sort of pseudo-prizes for skilled participants or particularly astounding food? maybe things like hottest spice, most exotic meat, best-tasting meat, cooking to perfection, and least healthy entrée.

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

Perhaps we'll have to revisit this limit to "Lurkers" inability to send and receive PM.
Maybe we can impose a limit of 4 messages to allow for 2 in the "sent-messages" and 2 messages in the inbox.

I'll forward your request to [syntax] in case he is not checking this thread, but is using email notice on PM.

                        ok, thanks..

I agree the 'restrictions' should be lifted for a lurker status.
