The thread is in a project, and they had different icons for them, but were titled, "Public Forum Issues." Now, I have changed that default large icon to be the same icons used by forums, even though it is not a forum. This doesn't change the permissions to view it, but might make it stand out as a place that has had recent activity. Does this help with that specific issue?

I will note that I initially thought something was wrong with my browser, even though you'd posted about this change.

Can we hope it'll be gone by tomorrow?
Heh heh. Based on what I've seen so far, opinion favors removal. I've added more formatting to provide single column view.

Thumbs down from me. It's too crowded.

Yes, I know that you said to post over in the project thread, but I can't see where the discussion there warns about the sudden (at least to me) change in how things are presented. I even switched back and forth from different browsers, and from defcon legacy to defcon main.

If you like the concept, but would like to see the formatting improved, then voice that opinion, too.

DT has asked for the social networking links to be enabled on the forums, and of course, these are his forums and he is the boss. :-)

Now when viewing a thread, if you scroll to the bottom, you should see:

    Bookmarks

    * Submit Thread to Digg Digg
    * Submit Thread to del.icio.us del.icio.us
    * Submit Thread to StumbleUpon StumbleUpon
    * Submit Thread to Google Google
All on one line with little icons.

    Feedback welcome.

And it is back. Please let us know if you see strangeness with it too.

There are plans for one more round of maintenance on pics tommorow, but I am waiting for delivery of something before that can proceed. No ETA on next maintenance on pics, but there is hope for it to happen tommorrow.

It took about 1 hour. There was more data to copy that I expected.

Please report any strangeness you observe between now and the next maintenance cycle on Saturday.

    Thanks!
