I had the opposite problem finding a shirt at defcon. I couldn't find any ladies shirts. All of the shirts I found were way too big. Perhaps I should have looked at the merchandise as soon as I got there.

          2XL no sell

I'll tell you why the 2XL shirts don't sell as good as they can... they are as short as L shirts! And when you wash them they get even shorter. We all look like the comic book guy on Simpsons. Get the XL and 2XL shirts to be longer, I'd pay $2 more for XL-T just so I can wear them after I decide to wash them.

ditto... as opposed to popular television propoganda, taller is better bending over or lifting arms is not fun when your shirt rides up to you belly button each time
if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

If there is a lesson I learned last year, it's that I didn't have nearly enough XXL and Baby Tees. So I am planning on fixing that mistake this year. Lesson Learned.

Plus it would be nice for those that would like to purchase extras.

I'd love to see extra DEFCON lanyards, its always a hoot to see them around peoples necks at other conferences. I'm in the process of getting a good sized batch of C4I.org laynards as they are cheaper door prizes than giving away shirts, but I am always game about buying laynards, you can never not have enough of them around, and from various agencies. :)

As for shirts, I am still stuck with a bunch of large C4I.org shirts but if I would have printed them as double-fat (XXL) or triple-fat (XXXL) I would have had them all moved in the first hour.

I learned my lesson on selling at Defcon the hard way.

Since the number of females is much smaller than the number of males, I'm sure most of y'all don't consider this, but I'd love to see more girls shirts! Shirts that are designed to be a bit smaller and curvier are much more attractive to us than the plain ole t-shirts. Even better, get BIG girls shirts, like in XL or even XXL, since they tend to run small. I love the look of baby-doll t-shirts, but one size does NOT fit all!

Yeah I think Grifter mentioned having more "babydoll" tees on hand next time. I would love to see some of the guy designs on girl-sized shirts. Some of the girls are actually geeky themselves, rather than being the girlfriend of a geek. :)

                              Soution to shirt shortage

A reputable vendor could have a small number of samples of specific hard to fit sizes such as 3X+Tall, 2X+Xtra Tall, baby tees or any other out of the ordinary size. Then rather than having to guess at how many of each to have just take orders, then have everything special made after the conference (collect at least 60% of the cost first, just to prevent people from backing out). It would cut down on the leftovers that the vendors have and it would guarantee that everyone who wants a 3X+Xtall shirt could get one.
