  • Toxic BBQ T-Shirt Slogan Contest

    Once again, the Toxic BBQ is looking for a slogan.
    Something catchy, something creative. It will be used
    on the front of the Toxic BBQ T-Shirts.

    Last year was ASTCells slogan
    "If its dead we cook it"
    "If its alive we cook it"
    " ... a little longer."

    Re: Toxic BBQ T-Shirt Slogan Contest

    fwiw, last years thread (http://forum.defcon.org/showthread.php?t=7262) may help spark some thoughts, as well as give a history of prior slogans.
    if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

        Tannerite, Thermite, a Thermic Lance, and a Truckload of Meat... We'll find a way to make something happen with all this.
        "I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

              I think it would go well on a shirt that had some pictures of food from video games.... you know, a Castlevania potroast, a "%" from Nethack, maybe some Gibs from Quake III....

                expanding on virosa's idea:

                00 13 37 0F 00 D0 :: A couple 8-bit NES/Commodore food
                00 BA D0 FE D5 00 :: Icons burgertime, castelvania?
                00 DE AD 0B EE F0 :: (syntax? is that problematic on cost
                00 7B B2 00 04 00 :: if graphics screened next to text?)

                variations on the tangent? (00 D7 01 50 13 37, teehee) ?

                --edit: In my brief initial google search I accidentally found this and this...

                  Re: Toxic BBQ T-Shirt Slogan Contest

                  We had two bags of onions, seventy-five differnt meats, five sheets of aluminium foil, a saltshaker half-full of garlic powder, and a whole multi colored collection of utencils, peppers, stuffings, spices... Also, a quart of olive oil, a quart of venager, a case of flea's hot sause, a pint of che's gin, and two dozen eggs. Not that we needed all that for the BBQ, but once you get into a serious cookout collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

                        How about just a picture of a platter of ribs with the caption "+25 HEALTH" under it?

                            The WMD shirt is the coolest thing I have seen all day. I was in Romania a few years back, and as I was wandering around towns, I had castlevania music pumpin' in my ears.

                            I was all envisioning jumping around platforms and whipping peasants and candle sconces and large bats and whatnot.

                              .. probably another reason why Romanian peasants don't care so much for American and Japanese visitors ..
