Re: BBQ Update
Let's put it this way. I, personally, am solid on the location. The participants of the Titanium Chef Challenge will also be, once they get their instruction sheet at the meetup or get a txt message from me.
We (the Titanium Chef teams and staff) will be at the BBQ way earlier than everyone else. If you find us, you will be in good shape. (We're not talking about Central Park or Fairmount Park here... Sunset Park isn't that big. You won't get left out or lost as long as you show up remotely in the right area of the city.) Our event is wrapping up at around 5:00 PM and the biggest BBQ crowds don't start showing up until at least 6:00.
The best thing you can do to help support the BBQ event and to wind up totally cool is to...
these are just my suggestions to make the event go well and to keep everyone happy. i'm guessing that Londo or the other top brass of the BBQ will make a more formal post tomorrow, etc. it will all be great. just show up and be cool and we're halfway there.

1. Show up with some goods of your own (food, booze, etc) so that we don't have a moocher problem
2. Park away from the BBQ event area (the main parking lot is awesome... just walk over to where you see us) so you're not making our scene wicked-crowded with vehicles. As long as it's not Sam's Hot Car Lot things are in good shape.
3. Pick up your trash as you leave. No matter how loud or numerous we are, i'll wager dollars to doughnuts that the powers that be will draw 90% of their opinion about us from how we leave the area. So please, just get your shit into a trash can (or even better, grab a contractor bag from one of the staffers and put all your stuff in that, tie it off, and put it by a refuse bin)
