Shoot the fed, now that is AWESOME.

Of course while the feds getting their paintballs guns in order the hackers will be screwing up the computers in their cars. Something tells me feds would win with weapons.

Yup, the con needs to be longer. Next year make it 9 days and $1000, three events included for that price.

Feds are better trained for the "one shot, one kill" mentality. Hackers may be more likely to do a DDOS attack with lead to get the same effect.

Personally I appreciate the sniper... :) much more effective.. though the massive firepower does make a good show... :)

If any cars die on the D2K ride this year, tow them along and use them as a target. That would rock.

I thought about renting a Dodge Viper for the drive, but 7 mpg kinda sucks. Flying this year, heck I think planes get 7 mpg. :)

But yea, rent a car, don't stress out your own wheels.

One drunken night last year we had the bright idea of renting a hummer and mapping a straight route from OC to Vegas... we would just not use the freeways, highways, etc... of course a couple of days later we realized this idea wasn't as good as it sounded after a couple kegs of beer.. :)

Hummers are great if you are 5'4 and don't mind hitting 7000 rpm at 55 mph. I drove them all the time in Bosnia and they'd pretty much separate your bones at the joints from the vibrations. Not comfy for anything over three miles.

The 2600 documentary on the hacker culture and the Free Kevin movement will be screening in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 21. Kevin Mitnick, the main subject of the documentary, will be making a special appearance at the screening.
