    Why choose just one?

I always get about $30 worth of pins and stickers. You know his stuff is good when he takes a break and no one rips him off!

Hahah... I remember some of the vendors (or at least their helpers) can't do 2 digit floating point math... I usually have to correct them and tell them that I shouldn't be getting 10 dollars in change for something that cost 15 dollars after I gave them a 20...

I can top that one, unless it was the same table....

I found a shirt and gave then two $10 bills for a $20 shirt, she apologized that she did not have change but I could have a 3nd shirt if I wanted. I immediately checked to see if I was giving her a $100, not they were both tens. I said "These are tens." And she said, "I said I'm wory we don't have change."

That's what I get for finishing college.

Down the street there is a huge sign for a new business that says "GRNAD OPENING". But that's another story. I really need to see if they do silkscreening!

LOL, I know of two tables that did this, though I will not mention their affiliation names in order to save face. Perhaps drinking/(or whatever else) on the job isn't the best thing to do...

Of course I only get this deal on shirts, not on NICs, Sun systems, or anything else, noooo.

I really did want to buy the dog at the parts table.

I wanted to pick up the 3k smart card reader that looked like a brick with a db9 serial interface... that would have been fun to add to my collection :) but I think they were selling it for 300 bux.. made me almost pass out.. you can get a brand new one for around 60.

Yea, those guys think we are rich. I did see an Evans and Sutherland video card for $500, but it was PCI and an older version. Not a good deal. Now ther 1U fan unit for $40, that was a deal that I wish I jumped on.

Yes, i don't know how some businesses get away with sending dirty old whores that even they know aren't going to get the johnson in any type of working mode..

Well when they know they are going to Defcon, they figure anything will work against a bunch of geeks whose last experience with female genitalia was their birth.

We need to tell them that maybe Hugh Hefner is in town and wants an audition, or heck, anything except that we're geeks!

Hmmm.... well perhaps the geek factor will be offset by the trek convention...
