Folks, this is the Mona Lisa - nay - the Apple Lisa (wait a second...) - nay - the L.I.S.A. (Laser Interferometer Space Antenna) of line-ups. The selection of talent have all been placed in a delicate cosmic balance between time-slots that elegantly states "THIS IS SERIOUS SOME FENG SHUI, YEAAAAA BOYEEEE!!!!" Or something... Anyways, I think we're looking at a good ol' fashioned debauchery-filled romp this year!

I hope/demand to see everyone who reads this post out at the events and shakin' their bootays (and by that I mean those leather goth boots 23.6% of you wear). ON WITH THE MADNESS

Ha, I thought Defcon started on Tuesday... but then I guess they took Quarks away...

On the same note, EFF is having a fundraiser event with DJs on Thursday night, Toxic BBQ, and also Defcon101 is going on in the afternoon....

FYI - I heard they are rebuilding the Startrek experience on Fremont & Las Vegas Blvd.

Star Trek: The Experience was scheduled to reopen in the Neonopolis Mall on May 8, 2009 in time for the premiere of the Star Trek movie. It has since been pushed back to 2010.

Hackajar, This is our first show of any kind in 4 years. We are looking forward to trying out our new sound at defcon17. We well be playing a 2 hour experimental improve set Friday between 4 & 6pm.

/Defcon7 (10 yrs ago) was our first time playing Defcon

Just wanted to thank everyone for a great time and Scott and crew for getting things together! DEFCON is my favorite event to do all year and I always look forward to the event!
