I got past a security guard by saying I forgot my ID and I was all bent out of shape since I had to work instead of go to the Lakers parade that day a fe weeks ago. he agreed that working on that day sucked and he let me pass. So the password at some sites is "Go Lakers!"

How about bringing a machine loaded with Smoothwall or Checkpoint. I can bring either, and possibly both. Would there be a network hookup available for some CTF-style against them?

There are pet friendly hotels in Vegas, but considering the heat expected, I'll leave them in good hands at home.

I have flown too many times to count/remember
and have never had the metal detector go off because of the underwire in my bra..

I do not suggest wearing overalls of any fashion (shortalls included) or anything else similar w/ a lot of metal like buttons..
and do wear tennis shoes, lot more comfortable for traveling..

also, just something I've learned from traveling alot
if u have problems w/ your ears hurting when landing, and gum etc. doesn't work
take one dose of sudafed: nasal decongestant (i.e. the red one)
one hr before the plan lands
                      it works so well

                        yea uhm..
so like one time I was going home from visiting my ex, (post 9.11) and uhm the security people were stupid, and let him pass w/ me through to the gate, but I was like kuel, he can carry my suit case
he should have just said he had a flight later on...
long story short, woman at the counter misunderstood him, and as he was leaving he was approached by military army people and arrested for impersonating a customs officer/agent and was in holding/jail for like 6 or so hrs..

moral of the story, if security is stupid enough to let u through when your not flying, always say u have a later flight..

Peculiar, I have never been able to maintain any type of relationship after no longer being in said relationship... I find it an interesting concept... but does not seem viable in any of my circumstances.

ah... thanks for the clarification. Though I do know people who still maintain a weird relationship, like let them borrow a car, or lend them large amounts of money... later only to bitch and regret... and then do it again... anyone in my past pretty much never even wants to see me from orbit... no idea what is wrong with them... ok.. it is me.. it must be.
