    Announcing PreDefcon party (tues-thurs, AP)

    Tuesday-Thursday, Alexis Park.

    So last year a bunch of us got together at the AP, hung out, got drunk, bled a little, and basically had a great time. Getting together and hanging out with people like you is what defcon is all about. Unfortunately, the actual con has lost a lot of that informal community feel. So, in addition to defcon itself, come by the AP any time! Bring some booze, share with friends, swim.

          Looks like I need to make some modifications to my travel plans to spend a couple of days at the AP instead of only the RIO.

                          Heck yeah, all the cool kids come out for at least a week!

                          On a serious note, yeah, if you actually want to hang out with people in a very relaxing environment (ie, less people, no need to go to scheduled talks, not being jammed into hallways, etc) then this should be a great event. We also assume that the Ninjas will have a kick ass party again with a similar relaxed theme during defcon too!

                              For live entertainment, would you all rather have a roving mariachi band, or clowns and a bounce house? I think we can only afford one...

                                      Can we have a mariachi band in a bounce house? I feel it would really keep the bouncing vibes up.
