Rio rooms, Defcon Block=Sold-out. More $$ Rio room avail, for now. Alternatives?

Try priceline or other sites, you will save a bunch over the so-called group price.

I did end up using Priceline and saved overall compared to the group rate, since it wasn't available for the entire time.

The Gold Coast Hotel & Casino is the nearest hotel to the Rio (within walking distance) and they still have rooms available.
