I reserved a room back a month ago and got their cheap room for 129$USD, and tried to see if we could upgrade last wednesday, but they said the rooms were all booked... but it looks like there will be some available rooms to upgrade soon... ;) ;) but I certainly feel everyone's pain.

Anyone in Las Vegas? print out this thread and take it to AP, see if they want to post an offical reply to explain their antics.

And if I owned AP I would have more than 2 people on duty when the Deathrace folks pull in.

Usually when I first get in i do a bug sweep while playing pre-recorded voice conversations... suprised they don't bug the rooms... not that i am ever in my room.

I'm surprised we even get a TV. I bet they'd not put a bug or any electronics in the room for fear that we would turn the tables against them.

I love how they give you two tv's one for the living and one for the bed... though their hardware locks disallow from lining both tv's to face the bed at the same time... I thought it would be nice to view the con and watch two of the discussion lines.. or one discussion and the one dc movie channel from inside..

At DC8 our TV never worked, they had a tech in twice. I had to wonder about the fridge, the food was so expensive I wonder if it is the same stuff put in there the day the hotel opened.

The only thing I use the fridge for is the beer, red bull, and the vodka.. :)

                            Don't wish I was there

ya know. it's times like this that I am really glad I am not staying at AP. Granted I will lose out on Hack.Net. . . Well, maybe not. . . It's not like I am planning on going back to my room to sleep anyways.

This may be our last year at AP as well. Maybe we can rent out a hotel within line of sight of the NSA, that could be...interesting.
