The problem with that is if I actually need it I have to debate if it is worth shooting it at $1.50 / round

I'll probably bring the full auto mac-10 again, now with jamming issues (mostly) fixed. Including a suppressor for it and a suppressed 9mm pistol. And probably a neos sbr with 22 suppressor. Unless some forms come back early then i'll have something really cool.

Probably wont bring the desert eagle, there wasnt much interest in the DE last year.

When do you think we'll know if the shoot is on Wednesday or Thursday?

I made use of those unfortunately too late, but yes thanks, without them I wouldn't have been able to stay. :-)

I realize that my toys are not in line with yours, however, I plan on bringing a straight jacket, bread board and a soldering iron. This could get interesting

Ha, 3 -4 weeks. It sucked. Had the luck of seeing an ear doctor that was an army consultant; told me that some people can listen to boom, boom, boom, all day long and have no ill effects, others it only takes once. So I double up with plugs similar to these http://www.surefire.com/EP3-Sonic-Defenders and head phones. Haven't had any trouble since then. But it did ruin Defcon 19 for me. Lesson learned. :-) If you feel ear pain on the line, set your stuff down and walk away.

Not a huge fan of DIY holistic medicine, but I've read that loading up on magnesium prior to, or immediately post exposure http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8135325 can help mitigate damage. Also Lipo-Flavonoid.

    What am I bringing?

    Neo: Guns. Lots of guns.

    5.56 AR15, maybe something new in 6.8, 7.62, 6.5, or .458 if I could ever decide

and better hearing protection(cautionary tale). Anyone with a sound level meter, I would be interested to find out just how loud it is on the line.

I'd like to second the idea of holding the shoot on Wednesday instead of Thursday! (I already plan to arrive on Tuesday.)
