      Should we look for an alternate site just in case they do close that area down? I don't know the Vegas area all that well, but I would think with all that open desert there must be other shooting areas. There is also Front Sight not far from our shoot location. They are closed down during the day in the summer, but I doubt we could get permission to use their facilities. Does anyone know of alternate shoot sites in the area?

        Looks like rain and flash floods Friday sped things up, and they expect to reopen Lovell canyon to the public today or tomorrow.

          Looks like it will be open this Friday to the general public.

          Incident: Carpenter 1 Wildfire

          Residents and business owners will be allowed back into Kyle Canyon, Wednesday, July 17, at 10 a.m.

          The general public will be given access to Trout Canyon, Lovell Canyon, Lee Canyon and Kyle Canyon on Friday, July 19.
