If no one hooks you up, I should have mine tomorrow. I shipped a buttload of stuff back UPS ground and the package is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I THINK I packed it in there.

I thought that was just a rumor. I've never seen one before.

The first year they had it at the AP I do not recall getting one. However, that was the year they had rumors of people with quick-dry cement in toilets and lots of other damage in rooms. (LOTS of damage in a few rooms.)

The following years, we did get damage lists with costs for various items in the hotel room if damaged or stolen.

As the link shows, I've got 10 and 11. I don't think they did it before 9 (9 was the quick dry cement year I recall). Just want to do this for my own curiosity and I'm sure a few other peoples

I don't recall there being an actual price list, just a "you will be charged $1,000 for being an ass" if any furniture was moved by somebody other than an AP lackey.

Made me afriad to move the desk chair so I could sit down lest I find a weird charge on the credit card statement.

No changes this year. They probobly just reprinted last years. Nice to know though that despite raising room rates, the damage costs did'nt go up this year.

Common Area Damage?

What does the AP do if there is damage to a common area (lounge, lobby, pools, etc)?

I know at some spring break type hotels, the hotel spreads the cost of the damages across all of the registered guests.

I believe DT has insurance or sorts for that. I wonder about the walkway lights. Are they insured or does he just offer to buy new ones up front?

Should just replace them each year.

I'm just surprised that they shut off all the fountains this year. Must be a cost savings thing, I can't imagine the water being very cheap out there.
