Actually, I did.Originally posted by kallaharThe fountains were off due to water restrictions since vegas is in a drought. I'm suprised no one searched for the valve to turn them on though...
They looked like they were in the process of servicing/removing them so there was alot of uncoupled pipe so turning them on would'nt have accomplished muchNever drink anything larger than your head!

Ya, the AP is about to do some renovations and those fountains are on the list. Not sure if they are going away or getting rebuilt, but they wouldnt have worked if the water had been on.Originally posted by rendermanActually, I did.

No Fountains
No it cannot be LV and I believe all of Nevada is in a bad water drout. When I visited Hover Dam and the water line on the lake that feeds LV was a good 50 feet below the water mark.Originally posted by rendermanShould just replace them each year.
I'm just surprised that they shut off all the fountains this year. Must be a cost savings thing, I can't imagine the water being very cheap out there.Did Everquest teach you that?Comment

I just read an article about Las Vegas and water use. It seems that this is actually the fifth year of the drought. Most of the city is under heavy water restrictions. According to the article, one resort was reportedly trucking in water from out of state at a cost of over $13000/month.Thorn

H2o
Damn, I did not know it was that bad. Still LV is in the middle of the Desert not sure what Hotel Operators are going to do when the water reaches critical mass. I think the problem is that they are growing way to fast without the thought of tomorrow, kinda like everyone is so eager to make a profit they care little about everything else.Originally posted by ThornI just read an article about Las Vegas and water use.
