Here goes.
The correspondence back on forth on the haXXXor webpage is pretty accurate so I'll summarize that part:
They contacted me after the Vendor Area was full....I told them so. I then let them know that they couldn't have any official space whatsoever per DT and BB.
They were told they could sell from their room. That should have been the end of it. It wasn't.
Then the worst thing that could happen for the haXXXors happened. We watched the DVD. We had never watched it and didn't realize there was actual penetration in it. The decision then became no haXXXors whatsoever.
This happened during Black Hat so we had no opportunity to let them know prior to DefCon.
Once on site Aaron grabbed me and said that he wanted a meeting with DT. I put the two of them in touch and Aaron basically said the same stuff in person that he said in his email on their page. DT ended up telling them that if they could find a Vendor to share space with, and only Aaron was in there (none of the girls) and their DVD cover was turned inside out...they could sell.
They did. I don't think they were happy with the arrangement.
Then they spammed us with that email on their site.

Having now seen both sides of the story, it seems like a case of sour grapes on their behalf. Hell, they were even given dispensation to sell their boner-killing DVDs in the vendor area after they'd been told they missed the deadline.Originally posted by Chris
