who doesn't enjoy hitting on lil_freak? she's cool as hell... but Tierra... not so sure he would enjoy all the affections of another man... but if so I am sure you would be a shoe-inIf I had a nickle for every time someone offered me ten cents to keep my two cents to myself... I would be a rich man. -
Of course tierra loves the company of men, I think that was a pre-requisite when he started working for grifter :).:. Adrenaline .:.Comment

Im looking forward to being in Las Vegas. Being surrounded by a lot of intelligent people (tech wise but also otherwise) doing and talking about intresting things. (I almost said intelligent things..imagine that..). Plus getting to talk to some people that I concider brilliant and enjoy being able to ask questions in person.
Defcon is like no other (con), its a place to expand your mind in more ways than one, sometimes with a little (or a lot) of alcohol. I look forward to seeing people I met last year, taking a good trip with some good buddies, learn or see a thing or two, be in a big city that has sleep habits and business hours like I wish everywhere did.
Its a 3 day party, mind included. SceneW's are an annoyance, but thats just part of the element. The only constant in the universe is change itselfComment

Defcon has SceneWhores like football has cheerleaders. Baseball and golf don't have cheerleaders, and they are more boring. When something gets to exciting, like Defcon or Football, the SceneWhores and cheerlreaders just help vent the excitement.
As for my business cards, I only bring 20 a year. I have never given them all away. hence with Pool2Girl on them aybe this year will be different.

One of my favorite things about con is being around a bunch of knowledgeable people.
I am so tired of: having to explain what divx is everytime I give someone a video file; explaining that usenet doesn't *have* a web address, why you need to enable WEP on your router, etc. etc. ad nauseum.

I don't know if there will be ZIppos this year, but if there are, remember:
Lighters are no longer allowed through security in the US. Nor are you allowed to have lighters in your checked bags. So, if you get a Zippo, you will have to mail it back to yourself or it will be confiscated by TSA in the airport.perl -e 'print pack(c5, (41*2), sqrt(7056), (unpack(c,H)-2), oct(115), 10)'Comment

And there was a story on the news the other day about how people are now getting fined for violations. They interviewed a guy who was fined $250 (came as a bill in the mail) for bringing a Swiss Army knife through to the TSA checkpoint.Originally posted by ChrisLighters are no longer allowed through security in the US. If I find stories on the web, I'll include them as links.
