    Looks awesome!

What kinda rub you usin' there?

Also looks like a brand new grill (wood is still clean). Got an offset smoker box there on the left? Might check out this thread for putting together a cage to keep temp and smoke consistent.

Ya, the smoker is new. I got it in Feb. This was the second time I've fired it up, Its got the offset smoker box on the side. I used some basic charcoal to get the heat going then began dumping hickory and applewood on there for flavor. The rubs were simple. The baby pig and pig shank are done with Rub A. The pork shoulder is done with Rub B. After the rubs set, I mopped them every hour or so with a mop sauce Evil whipped up. Not entirely sure what it was comprise of but I know it had molasses, apple juice concentrate, and cherry/cranberry syrup in it. The resulting flavor was a good sweet and hot taste with a smoky tang.

      Rub A

      1/3 cup packed brown sugar
      2 Tablespoons garlic powder
      2 Tablespoons paprika
      2 Tablespoons ground white pepper
      2 Tablespoons ground black pepper
      1 Tablespoon ground cayanne
      1 Tablespoon dry mustard
      2 Teaspoons ground sage
      2 Teaspoons ground thyme
      1 Teaspoon ground allspice

      Rub B

      1/2 cup ground black pepper
      1/2 cup mild chili powder
      1/2 cup sugar (granulated, white)
1/4 cup coarse salt (sea salt or kosher salt work)
      4 teaspoons dry mustard*
      2 teaspons cayenne

      * I cut that back to 2 teaspoons because what I do with pork shoulders is I cover the shoulder in mustard first. Basic brown mustard, rub it all over the shoulder. It'll hold the rub on till the sugar liquifies and bonds to the meat.

I return whatever i wish . Its called FREEDOWM OF RANDOMNESS IN A HECK . CLUSTERED DEFEATED CORn FORUM . Welcome to me

CotMan : your info is just about on target, thanks for getting that up there.

Noid you should think about joining us with Q-Foo like that

Thanks for verifying it. It is so hard to remember so much stuff.

I get a day off on Tues, so I'll try to get the info flowing if l0nd0 doesn't beat me to it.
I started composing my reply to russ before yours was added, or I would have skipped the maps and directions above. Hopefully something in that post will help you or other TBBQ planners.

No "N" brand on it?!? You have to take that to the bbq...

                BBQ Duties

Perhaps we should determine who is arriving and when, and TBBQ duties should be assigned to certain people to assure they are taken care of,

I am not volunteering, but just making a suggestion for the betterment of the project.

                ----

Also, we can have other activities...such as playing Twisiter, water (or other material) filled condom tossing contest, or a pinata -- filled with goodies.

I was wondering that too. Also, the link to SushiCon to the GM1 space appears to be broken.

Yes, but I just commented them out, so it's not an issue anymore.

The link is not broken, he just hasn't put anything up yet and I won't generate a page unless I have some information.

like .. last or this years logo? or like old skewl grafix & shit?

If the logo, I can provide xcf, jpg, or any other format under the moon for this and last year.

Waiting another week before I can transfer the domain and set up a server for the site. It *will* be up (hopefully with video, pics, etc from last year too) by the end of June.
if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.
