Nice idea to include something like the, "Hellraiser Box"

Brings some good quotes to mind. It also suggests a theme from the movie: use of the hellraiser box can bring pleasure or pain-- depending on how it is used.
(Pleasure when they figure it out, pain if they drop it on their foot.)

Other parallels exist too:
Technology is sexy, but can also be a task-master when you get addicted.
The obvious metaphor, that this is a "puzzle box."

I don't care if this is your first year at CON, get a team together if you are interested in this contest. You will take away some fun/interesting hardware at the very least.

There *will* be a cap on the number of teams (as each mystery box is time consuming to make)- so first come, first served.

Once you get to your limit, are you going to arrange for a forfeit of box to the next in a que? First come, first serve? (These kinds of questions will likely be asked by someone after a cap is put into place, and gives you opportunity to let people o the present list know that their "spot" can be lost to someone else if they don't show up by a certain time.)

Such a list may cause people to stop by to see if they can get a spot that someone else abandonded, and even if they don't become members of an audience, or become more interactive with various teams.

Teams will have to send a rep to the contest area on Friday for the 'official' start of the contest- this will be posted here, on the contest webpage, and sent in an email to the addys the teams signed up with.

I will most likely have one or two 'spare' kits for those who bribe the best....
