Why am I going to Defcon 14?
(1) Because I don't know how to quit while I am ahead.
(2) I am really curious what it is going to be like at a new hotel, and not having to pay the Alexis Park for overpriced food.
(3) To see spahkle...“Bigamy is having one wife too many. Monogamy is the same.”Comment

Damn straight! It has been way too long, my friend. Hopefully this year the United States will mind its manners and let me in. ;)Comment

Although I am certain there are those that believe I will be at DefCon, just to keep RenderMan in line... I am actually returning this year to avoid my high school reunion.
All joking aside, I had a fantastic time last year and wanted to give it another go.Grey Frequency.Comment

Renderman: Um, why wasn't that rule about 'NEVER drinking anything larger than one's head' ever mentioned before? Now.. NOW.. I understand why I don't remember anything from the last few years!In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.Comment

I am coming for severeal reasons...
I've been a geek for as long as I've been alive, always fascinated by electronics and the amazing things you can do with them. I began coding in assembly when I was around 11 years old, which makes me believe I will fit in just fine with the other geeks at def con. On top of that, I am looking forward to the spot-the-fed game. I've been raided (as some of you already know anyway) and I have had the privelage of meeting many many agents in my time. So, I fortunately can spot them from a mile away. If anyone wants, I think I may want to make a little wager on the spot-the-fed game (I love gambling... that could be a bad thing being in vegas?) On top of all of that, I'm a party animal. I'm one of those people that you'd never expect to be a geek or have graduated with a 4.0 GPA from college.... So, I want to take the time to say right now... I look forward to meeting all of you and getting entirely stupid drunk with you. To beer, good times, and here's to heap overflows... well, that doesn't quite fit in.
Hey, I almost forgot! I'll be staying in the Riviera for the entire con. One week before the con I'll be across from ceasars... FOR THE CON NIGHTS, I *MAY* have an extra room because some friends might cancel the trip. I'll find out more about that in the next week or two, and if I have the room available, I'll probably give it to someone for free. :)
I'm also going because I'm looking forward to the CTF. >:]
With that, I will say have a good evening. I am out for my saturday night drinking.
xor eax,eax ;clear eax
mov al,1 ;syscall 1 is exit();
xor ebx,ebx ;clear ebx
int 0x80 ;execute it and say good nite to the DC guys.Comment

Naah...I sent word with my Minutemen brethren to watch for someone with 'legs of ivory' traipsing across the southern border. He is to be treated with the utmost respect and ferried on their backs to his destination.Originally posted by convergecareful, with Texans as hot as they are on foreigners right now, they might send him back to Mexico..Last edited by AlxRogan; June 19, 2006, 05:23.Aut disce aut discedeComment
