    That one minus the Bronco is up the river. You can't take the hood out of the hood easily.

    "Kernell's father is longtime state Rep. Mike Kernell of Memphis, chairman of Tennessee's House Government Operations Committee. The lawmaker has said he had nothing to do with the hacking incident." <Yea right? Time for a MK probie me thinks. Rectal perhaps.

    Ok politics aside, let's suppose daddy Kernell knew of his sons ability and had a direct line to the Obama HQ. Could this have meant tuition paid for junior, or perhaps a higher seat in government for daddy? This is NOT meant as a political rap,(could have happened from any side) only partial grounds to investigate Kernell Sr. further.

    Humm... What was it I said? (and we can't rule out other political parties or anything else)

    Nice follow up Streaker, thx.

What did she and her team really learn? What new installs are in place and her restrictions now that it's all out?
    Indictment has been handed down.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081008/...r/palin_hacked

    Trial is set for Dec. 16. Kernell faces a maximum of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a three-year term of supervised release.
    Chances are, he won't get this, but I think he should. Claims of ignorance that he didn't know it was wrong, or the gravity of the situation is no excuse.

    Sorry Thorn;

    The political silly season will be over soon. It is very encouraging to see so many Americans paying attention. The way it should be.

    Let's not go there. I'm sure that plenty of people would be more than willing to get equal time and sling mud about the Dems, and it will be all downhill from there.

    Edit:

    OK, too late.

    Either it all political comments stop immediately, or the thread closes.

    You're swerving dangerously close into discussing politics, which is something that I have made it a point of leaving out of this thread.

    I think this kind of directly applies here. We can run analogies to shooting the messenger until the cows come home (here, that's around 6:30pm). But the point remains that an intrusion, is the crime, not the intent.
    Good Samaritan laws don't cover those who CAUSE an auto accident, even if they come to the aid of the other driver afterward. A law like what Dr. Carr is proposing would be nothing more than license for every skriddie out there to go after any system they felt like attacking. "Oh, I caused harm? Well, you can't touch me because I didn't MEAN to do that."

    The fact of the matter is that you shouldn't be on other systems unless you're invited/hired to be there. It's that simple.
