Call for Monkey Butlers

The Pontifical We of the Newbie Speed Talk thingy is in need of Monkey Butlers. I know. The term may seem rather insulting, but the joy one derives from being a Monkey Butler is boundless!

One gets to be bossed around by...oh, wait. :-) One gets to share in spreading the joy of DefCon. And the duties are always a surprise. You may be made responsible for ensuring the steady supply of liquids to the speakers, or you may be asked to straighten chairs. You may own ensuring speakers stay on track and on time or you may be asked to pick up litter left by unthinking participants. Regardless, it's always more fun than a barrel of...

Monkey Butlers will be needed for a period of three to four hours on Thursday, the day before DefCon officially convenes. 11:30AM to about 3:30 or 4:00PM. Monkey Butlers who can commit more time pre- and post-talk will be welcomed. To sweeten the barrel, Monkey Butlers will have their own wonderful Monkey Butler T-shirts and a ride to and from the TBBQ if you don't already have one. At this time we need four committed Monkey Butlers.

Requirements to Participate:

*Must have attended at least One (1) DefCon
*Must not have been thrown out of any DefCons attended
*Must pass HighWiz's sniff test (that means take a shower, yo?)
*A sense of humor
*Able to take direction and follow through on said directions
