    802.11b range

If you want to get peer to peer on the road, remember that the signal is affected by glass. I used to have my Cisco WAP in the window so I could be outside or next door wirelessly, but the range was limited. I put the WAP on my table and got another 30 feet out of it! Did a little research and found that glass hinders the signal, but the rest of the building wall is okay.

Guess it's okay to have our WAPS in the trunks instead of on the dashboard!

Does 802.11a have more range than 802.11b?

        u in OC?

I worked in Long Beach today, only 210 miles round trip. Had lunch in Tustin (17th St), wish I knew you were there Blackwave, I would have made you buy me lunch. :D

            chow

I do taco bell every time I can, adding green sauce to the 7 layer really helps.

You know you are a Taco Bell junkie when you are at work with Cisco switches and think "Layer 3 switching" and all you vcan think of is taco bell!

I had sushi today, yum yum.. though it was from Todai, which is like a buffet place.. not as fresh tasting as the little japanese shops.

                any Thai?

Are there any Thai places in the area? I'm dying for some gang fuk. (That's "pumpkin soup" in Thai!)

not familiar with any good thai places in that area.. Irvine area has "Spicy Thai", and the Irvine Spectrum has "Thaifoon" (that is the name of the place)

Maybe we'll find good Thai in Vegas. Be sure to ask for "Thai hot" and not "American hot" if you want the true thai experience!

Yes, usually they have 5 or 6 levels of spicy.. I have had the highest and almost died, I took one bite and almost passed out and drank sugar water the rest of the night.

Many Thai places will not give you real Thai hot for fear you will not pay. I've made up my mind, I'm looking for Thai in LV!

I know a great place with prime rib, it was awesome last year. I can't remmeber the name of the hotel, but I know they had nickel slot machines...it'll come to me.

                              Prime Rib

What the hell is the name of the Hotel, on Freemont St., that has the Million Dollars behind glass? I think it's something with a Horseshoe or some shit. Anyway, that place has all you can eat Prime Rib for so cheap you'd think you were stealing.

That was Binion's horseshoe, and it contained $1,000,000 in $10,000 bills. The collection has since been broken up and sold to collectors. A $10,000 bill can go for $100,000 nowadays.

I used to always carry a $1000 bill on me, then when I went to In 'n' Out Burger I'd try to use it for payment, I always ate for free, no one had the change. :D

Of courser in Vegas everyone has change, so it won't work there.
