As someone who enjoys heat in their food, but who prefers to actually TASTE said food, might I also suggest a category for FLAVOR, not strictly heat? It's too easy to make a sauce HOT if you're willing to make it taste like burnt tire rubber. (I'm looking at you, Dave's Insanity Sauce.) To make a sauce hot AND taste good, that's a harder skill.

Very agreed. Flavor is a category as well as the judge who stays in the longest.

I don't know if the Rio would have trouble with us bringing in our homemade concoctions or if we should stay strictly store bought.

They'll probably try and charge us an uncorking fee either way.

            A few different categories.
            A whole lot of burning.
            A whole lot of fun.

I want to run this one.

I *just* received confirmation from Pyr0 that this is a go if you still plan to run it.

If so, what decription do you want for the forum?

            "A few different categories.
A whole lot of burning.
A whole lot of fun."
            ?

Do you have a twitter feedfor it? A site? Any other URL to add to the description? (Not required, but can be useful.)

Please let me know so that I can move forward with a forum for it.

            Thanks!

Created forum, used temporary description until you want is changed, moved thread to forum, and created expiring redirect from old location in new ideas, that expires in 2 months,

              Good luck!

Are we allowed to bring Trinidad Scorpions?

Its looking like we may have those and Ghost Peppers in the same category of contest...! How do those compare with each other?

I am thinking that this may devolve into some audience and judge participation of.... just how many can you eat without throwing up/dying/seizing....
