awe, i did very little other than say "yeah, fuck the TSA, good idea" when seeess and Sintax Error came up with the idea of an x-ray look for this year's design.

but yes, super thanks to them as well as Flizran for organizing all the logistics, etc. looking forward to getting mine.

I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

Indeed. thanks to all who gave input, worked their ass off to make the ideas a reality, and put up their resources to make it happen. Really looking forward to adding this one to my collection.

Ditto. All I did was volunteer to bankroll the shirts, and offer a couple opinions. KingRat deserves the credit for making the suggestion a reality, and everybody else who participated in the discussion helped it to be what it is. One of the reasons I dig this community so much is that we can have these type of collaborative efforts and end up with something rad at the end.

Also, just as an FYI, we're up to 54 shirts reserved so far. Some of those are for people who won't be attending the shoot (hell a couple are for people who aren't even attending defcon...), but that's still more than I thought we would be doing.

I think you can make 200 extra and they WILL sell. The design is too awesome.

KingRat: I've had a couple requests for the date to be in ISO 8601 format. Any possibility that you could make that happen?

If not, not that big a deal, but people have asked, so I wanted to pass it on.

i would wholly support this, too... i've been a huge fan of putting dates as YYYY-MM-DD ever since i started realizing that naming directories that way on a computer is insanely easier than anything else.

also, those of us who have made friends around the world know that it's the only date format that is unequivocally understood by everyone, no matter the culture in which they were raised.

if production is already underway, that's ok... but just commenting. sorry that no one noticed it earlier.

love the design overall, no matter the date.

Now you can say the shirts are ISO 8601 compliant, charge more for them, and people can wear them to work. :-)

I like where you're going there. Anyone work somewhere who does business with airlines? If so, bonus internets for wearing it to work.

Flirzan, thanks for the PM. I haven't dropped by this thread for a few days...and the PM was good timing. As always, I like to offer choices. Let me know which works for you guys.
                            Thanks!!

I like #1. I think the others try to take away from the image and fight for attention. The image is high-tech with the glow and x-ray, almost sterile. I think the fonts should be kept as clean.

^^ Agreed. The font in the first is actually one I purchased. It's my favorite.
