"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I don't feel cool when I go there. I'm tired of seeing John Mayer's face pop up. I feel like I'm being hustled when I visit there, and I don't think their product is that great. DRM, low bit rate, etc... OiNK it existed because it filled a void of what people want."

What am I bringing?
Neo: Guns. Lots of guns.
5.56 AR15, maybe something new in 6.8, 7.62, 6.5, or .458 if I could ever decide
and better hearing protection(cautionary tale). Anyone with a sound level meter, I would be interested to find out just how loud it is on the line.

Ah yes, ear protection. I remember you having some tales of woe after last years shoot. How many days did that take to return to normal?
I bought some earplugs with me that I used on my motorcycle, and they do a great job on the bike... but were borderline rubbish on the line. Time to invest when I am over in July.Comment

Re: So, who is bringing what?
Ha, 3 -4 weeks. It sucked. Had the luck of seeing an ear doctor that was an army consultant; told me that some people can listen to boom, boom, boom, all day long and have no ill effects, others it only takes once. So I double up with plugs similar to these http://www.surefire.com/EP3-Sonic-Defenders and head phones. Haven't had any trouble since then. But it did ruin Defcon 19 for me. Lesson learned. :-) If you feel ear pain on the line, set your stuff down and walk away.Ah yes, ear protection. I remember you having some tales of woe after last years shoot. Not a huge fan of DIY holistic medicine, but I've read that loading up on magnesium prior to, or immediately post exposure http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8135325 can help mitigate damage. Also Lipo-Flavonoid.Last edited by xor; March 10, 2012, 22:27.Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.Comment

Re: So, who is bringing what?
as before, the Shoot Shop will have ear protection (a big bin of inside-the-ear foam plugs) available to anyone who needs them. (last year they were even free, i believe, and i'm going to try to make that happen again this year, too. the free part, i mean. they'll be there no matter what, even though they might cost a buck or two)"I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. I made use of those unfortunately too late, but yes thanks, without them I wouldn't have been able to stay. :-)as before, the Shoot Shop will have ear protection (a big bin of inside-the-ear foam plugs) available to anyone who needs them. Re: So, who is bringing what?
I'll probably bring the full auto mac-10 again, now with jamming issues (mostly) fixed. Including a suppressor for it and a suppressed 9mm pistol. And probably a neos sbr with 22 suppressor. Unless some forms come back early then i'll have something really cool.
Probably wont bring the desert eagle, there wasnt much interest in the DE last year.Last edited by seeess; March 16, 2012, 21:45.Comment

Re: So, who is bringing what?
right on, man. i don't think i got to have any time with that last year. i recall some difficulty... was it failing to extract occasionally or some such?
glad to see it return and it will be fun to see it suppressed."I'll admit I had an OiNK account and frequented it quite often… What made OiNK a great place was that it was like the world's greatest record store… iTunes kind of feels like Sam Goody to me. Re: So, who is bringing what?
Ok, just so people can plan for the phun:
ShortGrrl: Mini Uzi, Colt Gov't .380. (Hey, she's little)
FW: M203, Uzi w/Gemtech Mossad-II, VZ-61 Skorpion, CZ-75 (autographed Rally edition), maybe the Browning M1919 again?
Hopefully I will have a) more factory loads for the M203 and b) a few cool toys for it as well.
The Uzis are both SBRs. I don't have any full auto at this time. I keep dreaming about a type 07 and SOT...then we'll have some fun.TSA luvs my Uzi.
