In Arabic, it's translated more as God willing. It's especially appropriate in the sense that I used it, seeing as how I didn't have a ticket for him and there was only one round of sales left. I managed to secure a second ticket, though, so we'll both be there!

Does anyone have a plane ticket for around 2pmish (give or take a few hrs) on Monday?

Am looking to share a cab or other transportation to the Reagan airport so I don't have to take the subway my myself with a lot of stuff.

I just realized I'll be in town Saturday afternoon/evening to start setup for Black Hat Federal on Sunday. I'll have to swing by the hotel that night just to say hi. If I can somehow snag a badge for the evening talks that'd be even better, but looks pretty unlikely from what I've seen.

I just realized I'll be in town Saturday afternoon/evening to start setup for Black Hat Federal on Sunday. I'll have to swing by the hotel that night just to say hi. If I can somehow snag a badge for the evening talks that'd be even better, but looks pretty unlikely from what I've seen.

Drop by anyway, There is usually a crowd of us sitting aorund the lobby area or just outside the bar/restraunt after all the talks are over and into the wee hours of the morning.

Where are they holding BlackHat Federal this year, down in Crystal City again?

Yeah, my first Shmoocon experience left me with very, very little sleep due to the hotel lobby/bar area.

Black Hat is going to be at the Westin this year, about 3 blocks or so north of the White House.

I have a schedule conflict for both the DC and Las Vegas events this year. Looks like I'll be spending some time at SANS in Tysons Corner in March instead.

Yeah. I do all the network setup for Black Hat and general Ops goodness. The Amsterdam show this year will be my 20th Black Hat.

Are you designing an ASDM* for the speakers? The first year, the Shmoo did give us ping-pong paddles.
