Did the Shmooganography get solved? What about the badges? I had to leave before the last call talk.

Shmooganography got solved. My team came in second. It was a Rail Fence Cipher which then led you to a shmoocon web page with a packet dump that that in the reserved fields they spelled out a secret message you had to send to Heidi or Bruce.

The badges never got solved. I'm still working on it out of spite since they built the contest to screw with me personally. The bastards.

Did the badges have something do to with "The Bombe" and Enigma? I see one of AJolly's pics has some hints that fall in line with that and I'm guessing that ATE was the wheel settings to decrypt?

I think we should get the prize. We went to the NSA museum and actually got closer to solving it than anyone else. Does osmosis count :-).

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. This applies to making babies, hacking, and youtube videos.

Don't be fooled by cheap east-coast imitations...I'm much better looking than the guy who appears in the video purporting to be my talk...

Anybody know why some of the videos are still missing from Shmoo? I was really hoping to see the Bump Key vid, but only the presentation is available. The slides are simply no substitute for Deviant's amusing social engineering stories.

A third party security audit is the IT equivalent of a colonoscopy. It's long, intrusive, very uncomfortable, and when it's done, you'll have seen things you really didn't want to see, and you'll never forget that you've had one.
