For some reason I was smoking a cigarette thinkin' o' stumblin', and all of a sudden that song from limp biskit ( or whoever ) popped into my head a little modified.

Now you know your gonna like this right here
            Keep on stumblin', stumblin', stumblin...

You know that, rollin', rollin', rollin' song?

Don't remember if those were the right lyrics or not, but I just thought I'd share my pain as I can't get it out of my head!!!!!

Maybe we should make some shirts for this?

Hopefully WinterMute will make some t-shirts for us... I really want a black t-shirt with white letters that say:
All your 802.11b are belong to us

Hasn't this slogan been done to death though? I know this phrase id is in the NS query, but I changed mine to Keep on stumblin', stumblin', stumblin'! just for the hell of it. Wanted something different as that phrase is just getting to old.

I still have to put up a sniffer to make sure I changed the right string in the code, but haven't tested since recompiling.

                  I bought the Maxrad MFB24008. It's a 2.4 Ghz ISM at 8 dBi.

About 18-20 inches long. nice. It's pretty much the same one that Grifter bought, except that his is 5 dBi gain and they were out of those. I figured since I didnt have to pay S&H (They're in Denver), I could afford to get the 8 dBi.

                    thanks russ...

I've been trading emails with a "mike" and he says they carry Orinoco pigtails as well. Says they accept will calls 'til 4:30pm, so I think I'll be heading over there tomorrow!

I'm seeing a bunch of Orinoco gold cards out there for less $$ that are tagged as Avaya? What's the deal?
if it gets me nowhere, I'll go there proud; and I'm gonna go there free.

Chances are they are alright, though whatever you do make sure you don't get the bronze.. those are 2mb and are only 802.11, not 802.11b... You will find the ORiNOCO come as Lucent/ Avaya/ True Mobile...

ya, it's definately a gold, though with all the tags and price differences I thought I would eventually run into something uniquely worse, but I guess not...

Anyone have a CD of Back Orifice? And how does it work with Windows 2000?

anyhow, I diverge... is anyone interested in forming a forum team? seeing how the con is only a little more than a month off, I'd like to set up some sort of strategy ahead of time as far as what the team will have for skill/equip, as well as all the other stuff I need to get to complete another stumbling set (partially so I can play around town[s] beforehand and not be totally clueless)

I love to see pbnewb's try and dodge the balls... The quickest thing that I learned was not to duck my head down... let the ball burst on the dual lens.. a lot less painful. :)
